Baker said that the council would be updating Hoenig and the NSW Office of Local Government about its plans for the pool redevelopment, as well as developing a draft governance strategy to “guide decision-making processes and mitigate the risks associated with major infrastructure projects and investments”. He added that the council had already begun the work needed to ensure it could complete the project by 2022. He also said he was hopeful the community would support the pool redevelopment and its associated community facilities.
