Berks LaunchBox presents “3D Printing for Beginners”. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. by appointment. Join us for an overview of additive manufacturing. We will discuss the software and equipment used to print a product in 3D. We’ll review the terms and tricks used in 3D printing, then detail the software steps to design, cut, and print to bring your ideas to life. Berks LaunchBox presents a webinar, “Step-by-Step Process for Creating a Killer Pitch Deck,” 6:30-7:30 p.m. Whether you’re preparing to pitch to potential investors, apply for funding, or just pitch your business to potential advisors, it is essential to have a neat pitch deck. In this webinar, learn the basics of a pitch presentation, including the key elements needed to tell a compelling, yet concise story without extra frills. You will have the opportunity to practice and polish your pitch with the LaunchBox staff in the weeks after the course. A few startups will be able to present to the LaunchBox Advisory Board for additional feedback, exposure, networking, and a chance to win $250 in prizes. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) will hold its annual Berks Biz Home Run Picnic and Derby, from 4.30pm to 8.30pm at First Energy Stadium, 1900 Center Ave., Reading. Rain date: Thursday, August 11. Don’t miss this opportunity to network, enjoy food, drink and music while challenging your colleagues and friends to a game of cornhole or life-size JENGA.
