SoonSer targets industrial mass production with Mars Pro SLA industrial 3D printer series – Technical specifications and pricing

SoonSer, the industrial brand of 3D printer and consumables maker SoonSolid, targets the demands of industrial mass production with its enhanced SLA 3D printer series, Mars Pro.
Comprised of the Mars Pro 600, 850 and 1600 SLA 3D printers, the latter featuring a large expandable build volume of 1600 x 800 x 600mm, the Mars Pro Series is suitable for rapid prototyping, fabrication and investment casting for applications in the automotive, artistic, architectural and medical industries, among others.
Developed in response to market demand, the Mars Pro Series is designed to enable industrial scale fabrication of SLA 3D printed parts with speed and precision.
SoonSolid’s healthcare 3D printing capabilities
SoonSolid is a global technology company providing digital dental products based on 3D printing technology. SoonSer is the company’s brand of industrial 3D printers, developing additive manufacturing equipment and materials suitable for healthcare and industry.
SoonSer’s sister brand, SprintRay, is SoonSolid’s supplier of digital dental 3D printers worldwide, with its primary market in the United States. The brand provides one-stop digital dental services to practices and hospitals across the country, including 3D printers, dental printing materials, as well as its software and cloud platform. The SprintRay Pro 3D printer has already been shortlisted for a 3D printing industry award in the category of the 10 best non-FFF 3D printers of the year.
The Mars Pro series
SoonSer’s Mars Pro Series is the culmination of over a decade of experience in 3D printing and processing applications. Marketed by SoonSer as very stable, accurate and easy to use, the three Mars Pro series SLA printers differ primarily in the size of their build volume.
The smallest in the series, the Mars Pro 600, has a build volume of 600 x 600 x 400mm, followed by the Mars Pro 850 with a build volume of 850 x 850 x 500mm. The larger Mars Pro machine, the 1600, eclipses its cousins with a build volume of 1600 x 800 x 600mm.
The whole Mars Pro series adopts distributed and modular design to improve the working stability and extensibility of its control system. Also for the sake of stability, the machines operate a 00-grade marble motion platform, while critical components such as lasers, galvanometers and electrical drive components are supplied by reputable brands, according to SoonSer.
When it comes to usability, the Mars Pro series is equipped with control software developed by SoonSer which has a concise interface and comes with a list of functions in the package to simplify the operating process. The software offers process parameters, optimization algorithms, automatic pattern recognition and automatic processing parameters to improve print performance and increase the rate of successful prints.
Besides being easy to use, the Mars Pro series is also designed to be very precise and efficient. The machines are equipped with SoonSer’s patented intelligent variable point system to complement the high-speed scanning capabilities and scanning algorithms of the systems. The variable point system would be able to increase printing efficiency up to three times that of a single point system, thus helping to shorten the time to market for 3D printed parts.
Meanwhile, a high-precision liquid level sensor ensures that the liquid level in the printing process remains accurate, while the machines calibration system improves the printing accuracy of the entire printed model. In 3D.
The Mars Pro 3D printer series works with SoonSer’s open material system, which includes approximately 10 SLA 3D printing materials of varying mechanical characteristics, surface quality, colors and applications.
Meet the demands of industrial mass production
Designed to meet the growing demand for industrial mass production of 3D printed parts, the Mars Pro series is suitable for a wide range of applications across multiple industries.
For example, the machines are capable of producing components for the industrial sector, such as parts of household appliances, electronic products and the manufacture of auto parts. The printers are also suitable for manufacturing technology and architectural models for cultural and creative industries, and can provide mounts, investment casts and vacuum casting models for precision model making.
Elsewhere, the Mars Pro Series can be leveraged in the medical industry to produce 3D printed products for preoperative surgical repeats, rehabilitation devices, and surgical guides.
One such application case saw SoonSer 3D printing a model of the HIV mechanism for demonstration and display. Using the Mars Pro 3D printer, SoonSer was able to complete the model in just a week, including printing, coloring, splicing, polishing, assembly, and other processes.
The HIV mechanism model was printed using SLA 3D printing technology, SoonSer’s LG-6001 material, and glass-fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), which achieved significant financial benefits and reduce construction time. Due to the technical capabilities of Mars Pro, the model met the customer’s requirements for demonstration and long-term display and could be customized based on the scanned patient data.
The Mars Pro series has also demonstrated its prowess on a large scale, having produced an artificial “mountain” for the China University of Mining and Technology. Spanning 6,000 x 2,500 x 1,500mm, the mountain was imprinted on the Mars pro in resin, FRP and aluminum alloys.
