Hubergroup produces water-based coatings and solvent-based inks for flexo and gravure printing in new buildings, and has dosing lines for offset inks, including UV inks. In addition, the site has a laboratory with customer service and technical service. More than 100 employees work in the new factory, which serves as Hubergroup’s central service center for Eastern Europe.
Start of production in fall 2020
Hubergroup has operated a mixing station in Poland since 1992. Today, the printing ink specialist has expanded the Polish subsidiary into a production unit. Central service hub for Eastern Europe, the site also has a laboratory with customer service and technical service. The laboratory is dedicated to all types of printing inks and is intended to support printing companies around the world. The Wroclaw site is Hubergroup’s third production site in Europe, joining factories in Celle, Germany, and Bolzano Vicentino, Italy.
Production at the new site started in the fall of 2020 and has gradually expanded since then. All production lines, offices and the laboratory are now fully operational. Dr. Janusz Cymanek, Managing Director of Hubergroup Poland, explains: “With the new factory, Hubergroup has also invested in state-of-the-art equipment. We are delighted that the site is now fully operational and that we can now supply our customers with large quantities of high quality printing inks and coatings even faster. ”
The market demands modern, high-performance and flawless paints that have specified properties. When deviations from the set points occur, the cause must be investigated and the error must be corrected. What the “standard methods” do not reveal is why a particular coating meets or does not meet a requirement. Thus, the author presents modern analytical techniques and their applications in the coatings industry which answer other complex questions. The information in this book can be used to perform failure analysis, production control and quality control, and also meet the demands of modern high-level quality management. An excellent combination of theory and practice for formulators, paint engineers and applied technologists looking for a solid, basic introduction to the instrumental analysis of paint and concrete answers to everyday problems.
